Timothy Tarbet – Pulpit Evangelist & Minister

Timothy Tarbet grew up in Danbury, CT. and has been the pulpit preacher for the New Milford church of Christ in New Milford, CT since 2004.  Timothy has been married to his wife, Renee for sixteen years.  They have two children, Rebekah and Jonathan.
Tim earned his Associates of Arts degree (Emphasis in Bible) from Northeastern Christian Junior College in 1989.  Tim earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Bible from Freed-Hardeman University in 1991.  Tim continued his education at Lubbock Christian University, earning a Masters of Science degree in Bible and Ministry in 1993.

David Tarbet – Local Evangelism

David TarbetDavid Tarbet is the son of a gospel preacher, T.H. Tarbet and received the Bachelor of Arts degree from Abilene Christian University (Texas) and the Master of Arts in Religion from Fairfield University (Connecticut). After devoting 50 years to preaching for local congregations in Connecticut, New Mexico and Texas, David retired from preaching in Dallas, Texas in 2010. His long-term dream was to return to New England to help Churches of Christ grow numerically and spiritually. His primary focus is the New Milford, Connecticut Church of Christ, where he serves as Evangelism Minister. In this capacity he teaches Bible studies, writes gospel teaching articles for the New Milford Spectrum newspaper, and edits Christ for Today –– an undenominational direct mail publication devoted to the teachings of Jesus and His apostles, and dedicated to those who seek the truth. His work in New England is sponsored by the elders of the Bridgewood Church of Christ, Fort Worth, Texas.

He and his wife, Paula, have been married 48 years. They have four married adult children and 9 grandchildren.
